Scenic Saturday With Images Along The Way

It has been so gorgeous here in Utah. Spring is gorgeous here, but if you blink, you'll miss it. That's why I'm going to get a few images to show here and there. I do a fair amount of hiking and biking during the warmer weather. That's one thing that hasn't changed for me during this social distancing time. I've really tried to stop what I'm doing and take some photos if I see something I like! So please, enjoy!
I was riding up the road and the color of this tree stopped me in my tracks. Those aren't blossoms. They are leaves. They look to be maple, but maples don't change color until the fall and these leaves are too pinkish to be maple. Just beautiful!

Here are a few shots from a peaceful, hidden garden spot in my neighborhood.  It can be quite crowded during the summer but if you catch it right, it  is really peaceful!

As you can see, we are a high desert state, but the flowers are still gorgeous! Here is one more shot that didn't quite turn out as clearly as I would have liked. The sun was really bright so I didn't have the chance to focus it too clearly. And time was of the essence. As you can see, it was in front of someone's house, and a big dog came bounding out of the back gate! He turned out to be just a big playful puppy. But I couldn't be sure at the time! The tree was so beautiful. You can also see the tips of the mountains rising in the background. They can't be hidden! The Wasatch Range juts up from the east like a band of sentinels.

Tomorrow is Mother's Day! I hope you have a wonderful day and enjoy the spring weather!
