A Great Way To Cut College Costs

Congratulations!  You're in college!  Whether you're going back after some time off or just out of high school, many people think that once you're in college that it's smooth sailing and gravy from here on out.  Here comes the high-paying job around the corner!  Not so fast there, future moneybags! There are so many costs involved when you go to college and it all adds up!  From parking passes to laptops to room & board, tuition, lab fees, phone and, oh yes, textbooks.

When I was going to college one of the biggest expenses that you absolutely couldn't avoid was the cost of textbooks.  Every class has a required textbook, sometimes 2 or 3, and you need to have them unless, of course, you want to fail the class.  Now the problem with getting these textbooks is that they are so expensive!  Even if you get a scholarship or grant, you can bet the a major portion of that money will go towards the purchase of books.  Of course, you think that you can sell them back after you're done with them.  But the reality is that re-sell value is so minimal, it's ridiculous!  So imagine, if you actually could just cut the cost of your textbooks by 40% - 90% up front?  How much more funding would you have to....eat?

Well, throw up your hands and shout hallelujah, because I found a way to do just that!  It's called CampusBookRentals.com!  So, instead of spending time trudging (or driving...same thing) to the local bookstore, trying to find your book, hoping that maybe you can buy it used, in good condition, only to find that it is out of stock, do this instead.  Hop online, search for your book by either title, ISBN #, author or keyword.  How about these 2  keywords - Effective Speaking - to find this book!  I pay only $31.46 per semester for a 400 page textbook!  Once you find it, then reserve it for as long as you need it, tell them when and where to ship it (FREE shipping both ways) and then just go about your other pressing college-related activities.  So not only are you saving money, but now you've just saved a ton of time!
I guess CampusBookRental.com is actually a pretty big deal.  They have served customers on 5,871 campuses and then they turn around and do something I think is pretty amazing.  Have you ever heard of Operation Smile?  It's a good-will program where organizations from the US help children in 3rd world countries whose families couldn't otherwise afford dental surgeries for cleft palate and cleft lip surgeries. The long term Improvement in quality of life for the children that receive these surgeries is almost incomprehensible. CampusBookRental.com has already committed to donating enough to cover a minimum of  1,000 life-changing surgeries.  That's because every time someone uses their service to rent a book to go to college, they donate a portion of that money to go to this amazing cause.  So now, not only have you saved money, saved time, you are now a philanthropist working through CampusBookRental.com How good does that make you feel?   I feel awesome just writing about it.  I've said I'd never go back to college again, but how can you say never, anyway?  And if I ever do, I will definitely be sure to use this great resource for my own college textbooks.

The Revital treatment is perfect for my frizzy hair (I live in central Florida) and I always use a leave-in conditioner. This one sounds far better than the rest I've tried!

Thanks so much for the information on CampusBookRentals - I plan on going back to school in spring and while my tuition is covered, books are not. This will help so much!
