To Read More Books....As If!

This is intended as a Facebook tag thing, but I think I'd like to pass it along to you here as well!  This is a great list for books to read!  I'd love to read more of these when I get the chance.  Most of my reading was done pre-kids! This is how well I've done!

The BBC believes most people will have read only 6 of the 100 books listed here. Instructions: Copy this into your NOTES. Bold those books you’ve read in their entirety, italicize the ones you started but didn’t finish or read an excerpt. Tag other book nerds. …

At 33 I've read a third of them, as long as you count listening to them on audo books. Also I counted Hamlet, even though I already gave myself a point for Shakespeare's complete works.

I've read more than 80% of them... and I don't put a lot of stock in these book lists, mostly because they're so darn exclusionary. There's a lot of great contemporary multicultural lit that will never make the cut, and the percentage of women authors on the list is pathetic.

I am glad to know I have read quite a few of the books in the top ten. I was worried because it has been awhile since I picked up a book. I'll have to pull a few more off the list. Thanks for sharing.
